I*WE’s Origin Story
Once upon a time, in the Norwegian Arctic, an American farmer named Korbin found herself around a fire with a diverse crew of international students at a folk school.
It started with a question; "Will you teach us how to have good conversations?"
It turned into ongoing explorations of inner worlds - philosophies, emotions, questions and ideas. They met around a fire in the gamme (pronounced GAH-mah) - an indigenous structure made of birch and peat nestled in the forest.
The farmer realized our inner worlds are just like Earth ecosystems. They are complex, interconnected, and regenerate when tended in community.
Korbin is certified in the Transformational Coaching Method, rooted in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and Internal Family Systems, which address the root of lasting leadership alignment.
She is graduating with her Masters degree in Creative Leadership with the Minneapolis College of Art & Design later in 2025 and is brimming with excitement to work with communities gathering around the hearth for this time of great change.
Will you come gather ‘round this fire?
The call to explore our inner worlds—together—is growing louder in this moment of collective unraveling.
Inner World Ecosystems (I*WE) is a regenerative leadership container where the roots run deep. It's where radical leaders come to compost burnout, isolation, and fear—and transform them into clarity, courage, and connection that builds lasting purpose and communities that lead.
If you’re ready to trade loneliness for community, urgency for alignment, and self-sacrifice for soul-led impact… this is your invitation.
